Established since 1934, we are situated just 13 miles North of Telford in the heart of Shropshire. The ground itself has a maze of beautifully maintained paths leading you to the 80 plus stands, boasting over 200 clay pigeon traps of the finest sporting targets on offer in the UK today. The Scandinavian log cabin, which is the first of its kind on a shooting ground in Britain) offers a wonderful ambience with an open fire and plentiful seating for up to 60 guests.

Facilities

We always have tea/coffee available. On many of our sessions including lessons we offer this free of charge. During our Open Practice evening April-September we have an open cafe, with both hot and cold refreshments available.

Location

12 miles North of Shrewsbury, off the A53. The M54 (junction 6 Telford) is 14 miles. Normally travel from Birmingham takes around an hour M6 - M54 - A442 - A53. Manchester is 1 hour's drive via Chester, A41 - Whitchurch or the M6 - A53.

Your Morning is structured as follows:
9.00am Arrive for tea/coffee & bacon cob
9.30am A welcome and safety briefing on the veranda. Divide into groups of 5 or 6 for practice and competition shots over different stands with instruction. Finishing with the groups coming together to have a 30 bird 2 man flush.
